SynBioChem: We present an open-access knowledge base (SynBioChem; http://www.rxnfinder.org/synbiochem/), for community-wide organization and sharing of biosynthetic chemicals. In SynBioChem, more than 60,000 chemicals biosynthesized are manually curated by more than 100 people over the past 8 years from more than 500,000 biosynthesis references published globally over the past 100 years. Biosynthesis data-driven global social-networking should facilitate identification of biosynthetic target molecules and foster global synergetic collaborations.
